Setup

Initial ink charging

[1]

The message on the left will appear.

[2]

Lower the lock lever on the High capacity ink pack adapter and detach

the cleaning bag.

[3]

Remove the S/C card from the High capacity ink pack adapter.

Note

Once removed, keep the cleaning bag and the smart chip card together in the same

place.

[4]

Make sure you agitate the ink bag after you unpack it.

• Turn the ink plug upward and wait for three seconds.

• Next, turn the ink plug downward and wait for three seconds.

• Repeat that 10 times.

You need the following ink bags:

4-color setting

• Magenta (M): 2

• Cyan (C): 2

• Cleaner (Cl): 1

• Black (K): 1

• Yellow (Y): 1

5-color setting

• Black (K): 1

• Magenta (M): 1

• Cyan (C): 1

• Yellow (Y): 1

• Cleaner (Cl): 2

• White (Wh): 1

Slide the S/C card into the tabs of the adapter.

While lowering the lock lever of the High capacity ink pack adapter,

insert a ink bag.

• Make sure to fully insert the ink bag into the high capacity ink pack

adapter.
