Printing lines are not straight
/ are duplicated or patchy.
Did you perform Print quality adjustment?
‐ Perform Print quality adjustment.
Did you perform Media feed adjustment?
‐ Perform Media feed adjustment.
Is Ink cartridge (bag) within the validity period?
‐ Use a non-expired ink cartridge (bag).
Are Nozzles in good condition?
‐ Perform Nozzle check.
Then if nozzle missing is found, conduct cleaning.
Printed color is not accurate.
Did you install an ink bag on each High capacity ink pack adapter with
correct ink color of S/C card?
‐ Check that the ink color written on S/C card matches the ink color of ink bag installed
on each High capacity ink pack adapter.
‐ If it does not match, contact your local Mutoh dealer.
Are Nozzles in good condition?
‐ Perform Nozzle check.
Then if nozzle missing is found, conduct cleaning.
Did you agitate ink in the cartridge (bag)?
‐ When “Shake XX Cartridge” message appears on the operation panel, agitate ink in the
cartridge (bag).

Did you select an appropriate cleaning setting?
‐ If nozzle missing still persists after attempting Normal Cleaning or Long Cleaning two
or three times, perform “Little Charge”.

Is there any ink stains or deposits on the cleaning wiper or circumference
of the print head?
‐ Perform head cleaning or “Little Charge” again and check the nozzle check print.
‐ Perform Daily Maintenance and check the nozzle check print.
‐ The problem still persists, contact your local Mutoh dealer.
