NOTE
• To use this function, the optional SPECTROVUE VM-10 is required.
For details on SPECTROVUE VM-10, contact your local MUTOH dealer.
• Before using this function, print out the nozzle check patterns to check if Nozzles are clogged, etc.
• To use the color verifier, make sure that the settings of the following items are the same as those of
the standard value. If the conditions are different, the color difference may become big.
• Each Heater temperature setting, Effect setting, Head Travel setting, and Multi strike setting
• Make sure that Head height adjustment lever is set to Low.
• The room environment (temperature and humidity) affect the printed colors. Use the function
referring to "Environmental condition" of "Printer specificationsPrinter specifications" in the
Operation Manual. Make sure to leave the media and ink for about two hours in the environment
before using the function.
• The standard value cannot be registered for each media type. When verifying colors for the media
of a type which is different from the media used for the standard value, you need to register a new
standard value.
• This function is for simply detecting the changes in printed colors due to various factors. This is not
to guarantee the printer's accuracy of color reproducibility.
Follow the procedure below to verify colors.
1. Turn ON the printer and load the roll media.
