INSTRUCTION MANUAL:
Safety:
• Children must always be supervised around the stove and
stove fan. Do not allow children to touch or play with the fan.
• Do not use if the surface temperature of your stove exceeds
345 °C. This can cause damage to the components of the fan.
Assembling:
1. Take the fan blade and stove fan body out from the packaging.
2. Put the fan blade on top of the motor ‘s main shaft. Apply pressure
onto the middle screw hole of the fan blade in order to attach the
motor’s shaft.
3. Use the small tool provided in the packing and turn the screw
clockwise until it is tight and firm.
4. Test whether the fan blade is fitted properly by rotating the blade.
There should be no slippage and rotation should be smooth. If it is
not fitted properly, repeat the assembling steps.
Operating Temperature Range:
The Stove Fan has been designed to withstand normal surface tem-
peratures to 345°C on the flue pipe. Optimal working temperature is
from 205°C to 345°C.
Overheating will reduce the fan effectiveness and lead to permanent
damage. Remove the fan from the flue pipe if temperatures exceed
345°C. Good woodstove safety practice includes the use of a stove
thermometer. This will help ensure that your fan is not used if your
stove is over 345°C.
Handling the Stove Fan:
Caution and care must be used when placing the stove fan to the
flue pipe.
Only attach the magnet clip when the stove is not in use and is not
hot.
Please ensure the flue pipe is cooled enough before re-positioning
or removing the stove fan.
Placement:
The placement of the stove fan is very important to maximise the ef-
fectiveness of the fan.
Stove fan should be placed 20-50cm above the stove on the flue-
pipe. Placing the stove fan too low may damage the stove fan as the
heat may be too high. Placing the stove fan beyond 50cm may not
