9.2 Assign network settings with EpsonNet Config®
9.2.1 Prepare for access via network cable
With the previously installed EpsonNet Config® tool, the p³b is assigned its
network settings (IP address, netmask, gateway).
Before changing the printer port or network environment, make sure the
network is working properly.
A static IP address must be assigned to the p³b.
Procedure
Connect the p³b to the computer directly via a network cable.
Switch the p³b and the computer on.
Do not use a switch or hub to set up the network settings.
Start EpsonNet Config® from the
shortcut in the Windows® Start menu.
Confirm the security prompt
of the Windows® User
Account Control with [ YES ].
Register EpsonNet Config® as an exception in the Windows® Firewall.
Confirm the query with [ Yes (Y) ].
