1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The air heater should only be connected to an
electrical system complying with the regulations in force.
• Never locate the heater just below an electrical
socket.
• Do not cover the heater while in operation.
FIRE DANGER!
• Before operating the heater remove the protective
sheet from the heating elements, as sketched on the
warning label.
• Do not use this heating appliance in proximity of a
bath, shower, swimming pool or similar.
• If the heater is used in a bathroom, it should be
located in such way that switches or electrical contacts
cannot be touched by a person in the bath tub or shower.
• Do not locate the heater in proximity of curtains or
other flammable materials.
• Do not set combustible objects or materials in a 1 m
range all around the heater.
• The front metal grid protects people from direct
contact with the heating elements, however children,
animals, aged or infirm persons etc. should be carefully
watched to avoid accidental contact.
• Cover panels become very hot during operation. DO
NOT COVER!
• Only use the original handle to shift the heater from a
place to another.
• Never use this appliance with controllers, timers, room
thermostats or other devices that could automatically
switch on an unattended heater. FIRE DANGER!
• The protection means of the heater are designed to
avoid any direct contact with the heating elements and
must be held in the correct position during operation.

3. ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS
Before operating

stand to the

4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Locate the heater in a steady position following the
safety instructions (see par. 1)
• Check that the power cord is in good conditions.
Connect the plug to a suitable grounded socket.
• Check that the electrical system to which the
appliance is connected can adequately feed the
appliance.
• The rated current and power should be especially
considered.
• The orange light indicates that the heater is powered.
• The power output can be adjusted at three ratings
(see ill.1). Turn switch (1) to ON for 1/3 rating (800 W).
Turn switch (2) to ON for 2/3 rating (1600 W). Turn
both switches (1) e (2) ON for maximum rating (2400
W).
5. MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the heater before carrying out any
maintenance and/or cleaning operation.
• In case of malfunction, immediately switch the heater
off and apply to a qualified Servicing Agency.
• Never try to repair the appliance
• Never use a defective appliance.
• Periodically clean the reflector panel behind the
heating elements, after removing the front grid.
Remount the grid before using the appliance again.
• Check the conditions of the power cord before
operating the heater. If the power cord is somehow
damaged, apply to a Servicing Agency for replacement.

1. VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
• De straalkachel moet op een elektrische installatie
aangesloten worden conform aan de geldende wetten.
• Het toestel niet onder een stopcontact plaatsen.
• Het toestel nooit afdekken. Brandgevaar!
• Alvorens de straalkachel te gebruiken, dienen de
plastieken beschermingen rond de keramische elementen
verwijderd te worden, zoals weergegeven op de stikker.
• De straalkachel niet gebruiken in de nabijheid van een
bad, douche of zwembad.
• Indien het toestel in een badkamer gebruikt wordt,
moet dit zodanig opgesteld worden dat de schakelaars
niet in contact kunnen komen met de persoon die zich
in het bad of douche bevindt.
• Het toestel niet in de nabijheid van gordijnen of
brandbare voorwerpen plaatsen.
• Geen enkel voorwerp in een straal van één meter rond
het toestel plaatsen.
• De metalen rooster beschermt het direct contact met
de verwarmingselementen. Een toevallig contact met
deze elementen door kinderen, dieren of oudere
personen kan echter niet uitgesloten worden.
• De buitenste oppervlakken van de straalkachel worden
zeer warm tijdens het gebruik. Deze niet aanraken!
• Om het toestel tijdens de werking te verplaatsen,
uitsluitend het handvat gebruiken.
• De straalkachel niet gebruiken met programmeurs,
tijdschakelaars of andere apparaten die de straalkachel
zonder toezicht kunnen opstarten. Brandgevaar!
• Het beveiligingssysteem werd speciaal ontworpen om
rechtstreekse aanraking met de verwarmingselementen
te vermijden. Dit moet in dezelfde staat behouden
worden tijdens de werking van de straalkachel.

3. INSTRUCTIES VOOR MONTAGE
Alvorens het toestel
te gebruiken, dient
de metalen
voetsteun, met
behulp van de
daarvoor
bestemde vijzen,
op het lichaam van het toestel
gemonteerd te worden. Het
toestel nooit gebruiken alvorens de
voetsteunen correct te hebben
gemonteerd.
4. GEBRUIKSAANWIJZINGEN
• Het toestel in een stabiele positie plaatsen, rekening
houdend met de veiligheidsvoorschriften beschreven in
punt 1.
• Controleren dat de voedingskabel in goede staat is.
De stekker in het stopcontact steken (met aarding).
• Controleren dat de elektrische installatie waarop het
toestel is aangesloten in staat is dit correct te voeden.
Controleer in het bijzonder de stroom en het
opgenomen vermogen. De brandende oranje verklikker
toont aan dat het toestel onder spanning staat.
•
Het afgegeven vermogen kan op drie standen worden
ingesteld (zie ill.1). Draai knop (1) op ON voor 1/3 ver-
mogen (800 W). Draai knop (2) op ON voor 2/3
vermogen (1600 W).
Draai de beide knoppen (1) en (2) op ON voor maximale
vermogen (2400 W).
5. ONDERHOUD
• De stekker uit het stopcontact halen alvorens enig
onderhoud of reiniging uit te voeren.
• In geval van slechte werking, het toestel onmiddellijk
uitschakelen, de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken en
zicht wenden tot een officiële technische dienst. Nooit
interventies rechtstreeks op het toestel uitvoeren.
• Nooit een defect toestel gebruiken
• De reflectors die zicht achter de verwarmingselementen
bevinden dienen regelmatig gereinigd te worden door
eerste de beschermrooster te verwijderen. De
beschermrooster terug monteren alvorens het toestel
terug te gebruiken.
• De staat van de voedingskabel en de stekker
controleren alvorens het toestel te gebruiken. Indien de
kabel beschadigd is, zich tot een technische dienst
wenden.
