27. Removing the main board

Lift  the  plexiglass  cover.  Disconnect  all  plugs.
Remove  the  eight  knurled  screws.  Pull  the
board  5  cm  forward.  Use  the  lever  (tool  no.
15336  -



) to disconnect the fibre-optic plugs -

do not disconnect it by pulling on the cable



.

Remove the board.

Boards and EPROMS can only be exchanged
as entire units (see list of exchange parts).

Caution:

To prevent dust from entering into the
fibre-optic bloc, clean the machine before
beginning the procedure for removing the
main board.

Before  reconnecting  the  fibre  plugs,  clean  the
light  output  opening  with  a  lint-free  cloth.  Do  not
forget  to  replace  the  ID  chip



on the new

board.

Caution:

Before  starting  the  Automatic  Forms
Cutter,  run  service  routine  10  (for
more  information  see  Operating
Instructions).
