Using for the first time
Supplementary documentation
Make sure the supplied instruction man-
uals of the charger and the power pack
are available. Please read and under-
stand them before using the device.
Power pack charging
WARNING!
Risk of injuries or material damage

Only charge the power pack using the
charger approved by the manufactur-
er. The designations of the approved
chargers are listed in the enclosed CE
Declaration of Conformity.
Attention!
The power pack is supplied partially charged. Be-
fore first use, fully charge the power pack to ensure
full capacity of the power pack.
Î
Power pack charging must be carried out ac-
cording to the instructions in the supplementary
documentation.
Operating times
Î
Observe the times stipulated in local byelaws.
Î
Check with your local authorities to determine if
there are any operating time limitations.
Assembly
Fitting the lower blowing tube to the leaf
blower

If fitted, remove the cardboard protective guard
from the upper blowing tube

Align the lower blowing tube

with the upper
blowing tube
[F]
and push the upper blowing tube
in until you hear it click into place.
Î
Pull on the tubes to ensure that they are seated
securely.

of the power pack and the charger.

Align the power pack

tool.

Slide the power pack into the tool until you hear it
click into place and it is seated securely

Operation
Switching on the device

Press the on/off switch

The device is in operation.
Note
The further you press the on/off switch,
the faster the leaf blower will run. This will
increase the blowing speed.
Î
To lock the leaf blower when it is running at the
required speed you have activated, pull the speed
lock lever
[B]
to the rear.

This activates the speed control function and the
leaf blower runs at the preset speed. You can take
your finger off the on/off switch.
Note
The further back you move the speed lock
lever, the faster the device runs.
You can also use the speed lock lever to
switch the device on, without pressing the
on/off switch. Simply move the lever back
-
wards into your chosen position.
Working with the device

Hold the device with one hand on the handle

so that your thumb encircles the handle.
Î
Direct the blowing tube towards the ground.
Î
Move slowly forwards in a controlled manner.
Note on the motor speed
Use a lower speed for light material and a
higher speed for heavy material.
