Option ROM Messages
Ths tem s used to determne the dsplay mode when an optonal ROM s n-
talzed durng POST. When set to [Force BIOS], the dsplay mode used by AMI
BIOS s used. Select [Keep Current] f you want to use the dsplay mode of op-
tonal ROM.
Interrupt 19 Capture
Interrupt 19 s the software nterrupt that handles the boot dsk functon. When
enabled, ths BIOS feature allows the ROM BIOS of these host adaptors to “cap-
ture” Interrupt 19 durng the boot process so that drves attached to these adap-
tors can functon as bootable dsks. In addton, t allows you to gan access to the
host adaptor’s ROM setup utlty, f one s avalable.
When dsabled, the ROM BIOS of these host adaptors wll not be able to “cap-
ture” Interrupt 19. Therefore, you wll not be able to boot operatng systems from
any bootable dsks attached to these host adaptors. Nor wll you be able to gan
access to ther ROM setup utltes.
CSM Support
Ths settng enables/dsables the support for Compatblty Support Module, a
part of the Intel Platform Innovaton Framework for EFI provdng the capablty to
support legacy BIOS nterfaces.
Boot Option Priorities
The tems allow you to set the sequence of boot devces where BIOS attempts to
load the dsk operatng system. Frst press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu. Then
you may use the arrow keys ( ↑↓ ) to select the desired device, then press <+>,
<-> or <PageUp>, <PageDown> key to move t up/down n the prorty lst.
