MS Reverse Osmosis 30
Discription of the system:
The MS Reverse Osmosis 30 is a plug and play system which works with the principle reverse
osmosis, in which water is pressed through a semi permeable membrane which allows only
water molecules to pass through, the dissolved impurities or contaminates are flushed out. A
reverse osmosis system is often shortened to RO system, where RO stands for Reverse
Osmosis. The water that is produced this way, is very clean water in which most dissolved
impurities are removed.
The MS RO 30 works with a booster pump that presses the water after an extensive pre
filtration through the RO membrane, by adding a booster pump a higher capacity is reached
when compared with RO systems that use the pressure available in standard tap water.
Depending on the impurities present in the raw unfiltered water, the MS RO 30 can reach a
capacity of approximately 30 litres per hour.
Explanation of the 6 step system:
Step 1: Poly propylene filter (8809670) filters the solid parts like iron particles and sand
particles from the water with the size of max 5 micron
Step 2: UDF Filter (Active carbon filter) (8809671) It takes out 99% of the chlorine and
organic chemicals. It provides enhanced reduction of taste, odor, and color. Because RO
membranes are sensitive for chlorine an activated carbon filter is always placed before the RO
membrane.
