Maintenance and replacement of filters:
Life span of the various filters:
1) Filter Step 1 Poly propylene filter 5 micron 8809670
abt 6000 liter
2) Filter Step 2 UDF Filter 8809671
abt 4800 liter
3) Filter Step 3 Poly propylene filter 1 micron 8809672
abt 7000 liter
4) Filter Step 4 RO membrane 8809673
abt 12.000 liter
5) Filter Step 5 Mixed resin Bed 8809674
abt 10.000 liter
(the above mentioned amounts / lifespan are a reference when using the system uninterrupted, no rights can be determinate
from the mentioned values since the quality of the inlet water is of direct influence on the lifespan of all filters)
Maintance to the RO filter
The MS RO 30 will flush the RO filter shortly automatically .
To give the RO membrane a separate back flush, this back flush can be switched on by
pressing the 3th button on the display. When this function is activated “strong back flushing”
is visible in the display. During the back flushing modus ONLY the RO membrane is
maintained.
After abt 5 minutes the system will return to the normal operating modus automatically and
will continue the filtration process.
Conductivity of the filtrated water goe up, what to do?
First step is to check the conductivity of the water after the RO filter, this can easily be done
by disconnecting the tube before it enters the mixed resin filter.
If the value found is ok, the Mixed resin filter has to be replaced.
If replacing the Mixed resin bed filter doesn’t solve the problem, take a sample of the water
before it enters the RO membrane, is the value found lower than the water after the RO
filtration, the RO membrane needs to be replaced.
