Greasing the Slide Weldment
1. Apply grease to the boom area (B) as needed to keep
the weldment sliding smoothly.
Replacing the Hydraulic Hoses or Cylinder
Note: If the attachment was assembled for sideways
operation, it may be easier to remove it from the loader
and tip it to position the cylinder guard on top for ser-
vicing.
1. Park the loader. (See Parking Safely in this manual.)
2. Disconnect the attachment hydraulic hoses from the
loader.
Remove the Cylinder Guard
Note: It may be easier to remove the cylinder mounting
pin if you attach a safe lifting device to the guard and
cylinder to take the weight off the pin.
WARNING
AVOID INJURY!
Disconnect the attachment hydraulic hoses from
the loader before servicing.
Service Intervals
Every 8 hours or daily
•
Grease the cylinder.
•
Grease the slide weldment.
•
Inspect the attachment and hoses for damage and
wear. Replace parts as needed.
•
Check and tighten all hardware.
Weekly:
•
Inspect the cutting edge and optional cross cut
blades for wear. Sharpen as needed. Replace the
cross cut blades as needed.

Greasing the Hydraulic Cylinder
1.
Lubricate the two grease fittings (A) on the ends of
the cylinder.

Disconnect the attachment hydraulic hoses from
the loader before servicing.
