Power Connections
The
POWER
connector accepts a standard 3-prong cable for AC
power. An auto-sense circuit accepts either 110 to 130 VAC or
205 to 260 VAC @ 2 amps. The 3-prong male end must be
modified for non-U.S. applications.
4.15
Initial Power Up
When the wiring and installations are completed, it is time to
power up the receiver system. As good practice, you should
make a final check of all wiring and hardware installations before
power is applied.

Checks Before Power Up
CAUTION
Be sure the power being supplied matches the
power required by the equipment.
Here are your pre-power up checks:
•
Double check to verify all cables are connected to the
correct connectors.
•
Make sure all connectors are fully mated, properly mated,
and are secured.

Initial Power Up
Now you are ready to apply power.
1.
Power up the receiver system per
“Powering the
Receiver” on page 2-4
.
Note
The following steps must be performed by the
System Administrator.
2.
Perform
“Select IP, Gateway, and Netmask
Addresses” on page 2-10
to set up the IP address, etc.
3.
If everything appears to be normal, test the
performance of your receiver system by setting up a
link and transmitting and receiving video and audio.
If you have any problems, refer to
“Troubleshooting”
on page 3-1
