ENGINE SHUTDOWN (Key)
To shutdown the generator, use the following procedure:
1. Switch both the MAIN, GFCI and LOAD circuit breakers
(Figure 75) to the “OFF” position.
2. Set the engine throttle lever to the idle (low) position.
3. Let the engine cool by running it for 3-5 minutes with no
load applied.
4. Turn the starter switch to “STOP” position (Figure 76).
5. Remove the load from the UVW terminal strip.

5. Verify that the "Engine Running" status LED (Figure 79)
on the Auto/On/Offf Engine Controller display is "OFF"
(not lit).
4. Place the Off/Manual/Auto Switch (Figure 78) in the " OFF/
RESET " position.
ENGINE SHUTDOWN (Engine Controller)
To shutdown the generator, use the following procedure:
1. Switch both the MAIN, GFCI and LOAD circuit breakers
(Figure 77) to the “OFF” position.
2. Set the engine idle to (low) position.
3. Let the engine cool by running it for 3-5 minutes with no
load applied.

6. Remove the load from the UVW terminal strip.
