MAINTENANCE
BATTERY REMOVAL
The standard battery installed is a maintenance-free
battery. It is not necessary to supply battery fluid. In case
of a sudden voltage drop, the battery cannot be charged
quickly, so it has to be replaced with a new one.
To remove the battery, perform the following:
7. Loosen the nylon nut (M6) and remove the battery
holder from the battery. See Figure 37.
8. Disconnect the battery terminal. When doing so, always
disconnect the black terminal on the negative side first.
9. Remove the battery from the machine.

STORAGE
1. Wash off dirt and soil from every part with water. While
washing, be careful not to let the water splash on the
electric components such as the engine muffler.
2. Cover the machine to prevent dust and dirt buildup.
3. Store the machine in a dry area away from direct
sunlight.
4. Do not leave the machine outdoors. Keep it indoors.
5. When not used for a long period of time, drain the fuel
from the fuel tank.
6. When the machine is used after a long storage period,
check the level of engine oil before using.
