Press the the controlled steam release button

to release the hot steam from the iron foot.
The the button is released the steam stops coming out. If you want the steam to come out of
the iron foot, hold the button pressed.

During steam ironing the thermostat control indicator

will be alternately on and off. This
indicates that the iron heats up.
NOTE! The iron starts to release the steam jet within a few seconds after you press the controlled steam release
button During this time the pump pumps the water from the steam station to the iron. When pressing the
controlled steam release button you can hear a quiet buzzing sound from the water pump. If the water has
run out, the pump operation will be louder. Before using the steam function fill the water tank. If the loud
operation does not stop after 60 sec. from filling the tank, check whether the water tank and filter cartridge
are properly installed. When using a large amount of steam in a relatively short time, the appliance may not
keep up with producing the steam as in the case of lack of water in the tank.
IRONING WITHOUT STEAM

Set the required temperature (see: “TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT”).

During ironing do not press the controlled steam release button

VERTICAL STEAM IRONING
Hanging curtains and clothes (jackets, suits, coats) may be ironed holding the iron vertically.

Set the iron with a foot parallel to the material a few centimetres from the surface and move
the iron by pressing the controlled steam release button

NOTE! Never direct the steam jet towards people or animals!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

After use, unplug the power cord

Wait until the iron and its stand cools down.
3.
Wipe the iron with a wet cloth.
4.
Remove any residues or impurities form the foot of the iron with a wet cloth and liquid clean-
er without abrasive substances.
NOTE! Never immerse the iron in the water, do not rinse it under tap water.
NOTE! Do not use wire brush or any other abrasive objects. Do not clean the iron with strong detergents.
5.
Wipe the iron stand with a wet cloth.
AFTER USE
NOTE! Wait until the iron gets cool.

Unplug the power cord

Empty the water tank

4.
The stand has a special place for coiling power cord and connecting hose.
5.
Fold the connecting hose in half and coil it in a counter clockwise direction.
