Most Frequent Troubleshooting Hints
The following are troubleshooting hints on some of the more frequent questions that
might arise when using the ShowStar
and are addressed in the README FIRST
.
Refer to the README in Chapter 1 of this Guide for details on these issues.
1.
When Loading, Movie or Music Cover Art does not appear in library.
Fix
: May have to adjust the number of cover art columns and rows.
2.
Can‟t find any Cover Art when loading a new Movie or Music Album.
Fix:
See if any internet features work (weather) – internet working?
3.
Can‟t Hear any Audio when Playing a Movie
Fix:
Configure the audio settings to match your requirements.
4.
Registration error on start up requires online registration
Fix:
Contact Mozaex to re-register the unit.
5.
Failure to play a movie may be due to a corrupt disc or incompatibility
Fix:
Clean disc, update software or contact Mozaex if incompatible.
6.
I am unable to access iTunes to setup iPlay.
Fix:
Contact Mozaex for the login password to setup iPlay.
7.
Browsing of Movie Library occasionally halts.
Fix:
Every 10 minutes
the ShowStar automatically scans for new movie cover art
and refreshes its library which causes the library scrolling to momentarily halt. It
typically only takes a few seconds per 300 movies to finish a scan.

issues that might arise and troubleshooting hints on how to address them.
