Choosing the Proper Operation Mode 

In this section, we describe the various NPort 5100 operation modes. The options include Real 
COM Mode, which uses a driver installed on the host computer, and operation modes that rely on 
TCP/IP socket programming concepts. After choosing the proper operation mode in this chapter,
