2.2. Create MRC Gateway
Please follow below steps to create your Gateway Unit(s)
Wizard 1
– Create Gateway
Gateway Name
An alias that will make the Gateway easily identifiable.

Example “Pump Station 3” or “HMI 2001” etc…
*** (Gateway name cannot be modified once it is created) ***
Location
Enter full address
Lock to MAC
this feature is to allow users to insert Gateway MAC address in this tab, to allow.
(Benefit: Allows a single USB thumb drive to store multiple MRC Gateway Profile/Access
Keys for different locations.)
Auto IP Mapping
this feature allows user to assign a virtual IP address, to represent any local device (IP
Address) connected to the MRC gateway.
(Tips: In some cases, users may need to access multiple devices that are with the
Same
IP address; it is recommended to enable “Auto IP Mapping”)
Gateway to Gateway
Enable the function will allow
“Machine to Machine communication function between the
MRC gateways
Broadcast Forwarding
This feature allows user to enable Layer 2 & Layer 3 Broadcast function for Multicast
And Multicast Forwarding
protocol applications
