Australia / New Zealand safety standard states:
To avoid injury or death: • Follow the manufacturer’s
instructions.
• The carrycot should be used for one or two children
to a maximum weight of 9kg per child. • Do not use this
carrycot once the child can sit up unaided. • The parent
recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs
to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
• Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with
a string around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or
pacifier cords. • Do not suspend strings over a carrycot or
attach strings to toys. • If a sheet is used with the pad, use
only the one provided by the carrycot manufacturer or one
specifically designed to fit the dimension of the carrycot
mattress. • The parent facing seat should be used for one
or two children to a maximum weight of 33lbs per child.
• Always use the safety harness in the parent facing seat
to avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. • When
using the parent facing seat mode and when using the
carrycot on a stroller, do not leave your child unattended.
