
Antenna System
The antenna system of your telephone is
designed for optimal performance with the
antenna extended.
You can receive calls on your telephone without
having the antenna extended. If the “NO SVC”
indicator comes on, you may be calling from a
fringe coverage area and it will be necessary to
fully extend the antenna for optimum
performance.
Storing Numbers in
Memory
Your phone provides a numeric memory in which
you can store nine frequently called phone
numbers. Each memory can hold up to a
16
digit
entry.
Before setting up your memory, it is suggested
that you read this entire section to become
familiar with the ways you can access and use
memory.
Scratch Pad Memory
The scratch pad permits the entry of numbers
from the keypad during conversation. If the party
you are talking with gives you another number to
call, simply enter that number from the keypad. If
you make an error, press CLR to erase the last
digit entered or hold CLR to erase the entire
entry.
Advise your party that they will hear tones as you
store the number. To call the scratchpad number

at the end of an ongoing conversation, press
END, then SND.
The contents of the scratchpad memory will be
saved when the phone is powered off.
