Quick Guide to i2000plus Phone Functions

Receiving New Net Mail

When you receive new Net Mail, Keypad Lock will be temporarily disabled. For
more information on Two-Way Messaging, visit nextel.com.

Deactivating Keypad Lock

Light Sensor

When a key is pressed, the light sensor will activate the backlight only when
your phone is in poor lighting conditions. If illumination is needed, even when
the backlight is disabled, you can manually override the sensor by pressing and
holding

. This will activate the backlight. If the phone is in a charger, the

backlight will always be illuminated.

Press

under “Later” to return to Phone Ready.
