Disassembly

MOTORAZR 2 V9

Removing and Replacing the Keypad

Remove the battery cover, battery, memory card, rear housing assembly, and
transceiver board assembly as described in the procedures.

Lift one arm of the battery retention chassis (BRC) from between the front
housing wall and screw boss.

Ensure the bent tabs on the arms are released from the slots in the front
housing chassis. Similarly, remove the BRC arm from the other side (see
Figures 15 and 16).
