Disassembly

 V8

Removing and Replacing the Flip Assembly

1.

Remove the battery cover, battery, rear housing, antenna, and transceiver 
board assembly as described in the procedures.

2.

Apply hot air (temperature 400 F) to the bottom of the CLI lens for 10-12 
seconds at a distance of 1 inch. 

3.

Apply hot air (temperature 400 F) to the top of the CLI lens for 8-10 seconds 
at a distance of 1 inch. Do not apply hot air to the center of the lens.

4.

Do not heat the center of the lens.

It is NOT necessary to remove the CLI lens assembly to get to the inside of the flip 
when servicing the main lens, flip inner, or imager flex assembly.
