4 Hold the radio vertically 1 to 2 in. (2.5 to 5.0 cm)
from your mouth.
When you are connected, the display shows the ID
of the target radio.
If no acknowledgment is received, the display shows
No acknowledge

If the target radio does not respond before the time
out, the display shows

5 Press and hold the PTT button to talk. Release the
PTT button to listen.
6 Press
to return to the Home screen.

This feature allows you to make calls similar to standard
phone calls to a mobile or landline phone.
