 Service Manual Disassembly

Removing and Replacing the Display Assembly

1.

Remove the rear housing cover, SIM, endo assembly, front endo housing, and 
battery, as described in the procedures. 

2.

Use the disassembly tool to carefully release the 4 metal display latches on 
each side of the display assembly as shown in Figure 10.

3.

Carefully lift the display assembly away from the transceiver board as shown 
in Figure 10.

4.

To replace, align the display assembly with the printed circuit board.

5.

Gently press the display assembly latches into position while holding the 
display assembly in position. 

6.

Replace the battery, front endo housing, endo assembly, SIM, rear housing 
cover as described in the procedures.
