This symbol (regulation EN 60974-1 on safety
requirements for arc welding apparatus) indi-
cates that the engine driven welder is suitable
for use in environments with an increased risk
of electrical shock.
WELDING CABLE CONNECTION
Fully insert the welding cable plugs into the corre-
sponding sockets turning them clockwise to lock
them in position.
Access to non qualified personnel is prohibited in
proximity of these areas:
- the control panel (front-end) - the engine exhaust
fumes - the welding process.

Make sure that the ground clamp, whose cable
must be connected to the + or - terminal, de-
pending on the type of electrode, makes a good
connection and is near to the welding posítion.
Pay attention to the two polarities of the welding
circuit, which must not come in electric contact
between themselves.
