LCD Password
This function allows locking your appliance with a password that will be requested before
any handling.
Steps 1 + 2 + 3 (page 26)
a) The display shows "LCD Password - GO".
Press the central "OK" key to reach
this submenu.
b) Create your password with
the arrow keys:
▲
and
▼
(up/down): to scroll through the figures
and/or the letters.
◄
and
►
(left/right):
to move the cursor
toward the left or the right.
Confirm by pressing "OK".
c) The display shows "Exit menu - GO".
Press the central "OK" key to validate.
the display returns to its normal state:
date, time, and title of the music broadcasted.
The password is now needed to be able to open the menus.
It will be requested at any handling.
If you forget your password, the display shows "System password?".
Call the hotline
When the MP7200® is password protected,
and that you want to open the menus,
press the central "OK" key.
The display shows "Password?- _".
Enter your password with
the arrow keys:
▲
and
▼
(up/down):
to scroll through the figures
and/or the letters.
◄
and
►
(left/right): to move the cursor
toward the left or the right.
Confirm by pressing "OK".
To suppress or modify a password, do the following:
The display shows "LCD Password –XXXXX". Here,
for example "LCD Password –
CT12
".
With the arrow keys
and
,
Place the cursor on the last letter or the last
figure (here, on the 2).
And with the arrow keys
and
,
select the underline (_).
Continue the procedure for the previous letter or
figure till there is nothing but the underline (_).
Press "OK" to validate.
The password is now suppressed.
To modify it, select other letters or figures in
place of the underline (_) or restart the procedure
described at the top of this page in
5).
