Installation

WARNING: 

This appliance is intended for use only with the included 

Montigo burners and accessories. Never install or add any additional or 
alternative media, rock wool or other material in this appliance. The use 
of additional or alternative materials may pose potential safety hazards, 
damage to the appliance, and void manufacturer’s warranty.

The unit is supplied with firestones, 6lbs for PL42VO, 9lbs for the PL60VO 

(order code HW1106). Remove the door as shown in the previous 

Instruction. Follow these instructions to ensure all parts are removed or 

replaced as required. Once the glass door is removed place the firestones 

randomly across the pan and the burners as described.

Note: Only cover the burner with one layer of media

Installing the Firestones
