Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
REASON
SOLUTION
Unit won’t operate.
Unit is off.
Unit is unplugged.
The front cover is not
properly installed.
Press ON/OFF.
Plug in unit.
Check to ensure the filter
is in place and the cover
is installed properly.
The air quality sensor
LED stays red or yel-
low, but the air quality is
good.
The sensor has become
dirty.
Clean the air sensor with
a vacuum (see page 9).
The CHANGE
FILTER light has come
on and won’t turn off.
This light indicates that
the filter needs to be
replaced.
1. Remove and replace
the filter.
2. Press and hold
CHANGE FILTER to
reset and turn off
light.
Reduced air flow or poor
filtering.
The vent is blocked.
Walls, furniture or drapes
are closer than 12" to the
unit.
The HEPA filter may be
clogged.
Ensure nothing is cover-
ing the vent.
Ensure nothing is too
close to the unit.
Check filter and replace
if necessary.
