side of the boat. The unique Base Assembly of the MT2 includes: a base fastened to 
the boat, and a base swivel that allows for mounting the top, outside, or angle of the 
side of the boat. The Heim joint has three purposes. First, it allows the base to mount if 
your boat has a slight angle at the mounting areas. Second, it allows the legs to rotate 
so the tower can fold down for storage. Third, the Heim joint prevents any lateral (side 
to side) movement of the tower from causing stress to the boat. You are now an expert 
on the Parts of the Monster Tower and we will use the terminology of the Parts List 
throughout this document. 

Note that Parts refer to components of the tower and 

Items refer to hardware, tools and accessories.
