Appendix A: MACHINE REFERENCE

A-5

 

A total of 24 percussive sounds are available 
in the BeatBox. The sounds fill two octaves 
starting at C-3 and are repeated for the 
octaves above and under with adjusted pitch.

DIGIPRO DOUBLEDRAW “DPRO-DDRW”

The DigiPRO Doubledraw machine makes it 
possible to make an oscillator out of two 
waveforms. This machine is only available in 
Monomachine MKII models.

WAV1 

(waveform 1) sets which of the 64 

possible waveforms that should be used for 
the first waveform slot. The uppermost dot-
ted line indicates which of the 8 waveform 
banks that currently is selected. The lower 
dotted line shows the chosen waveform in 
the selected bank.

MIX

 (mix) adjusts the volume balance 

between the two waveforms.

WAV2 

(waveform 2) sets which of the 64 

possible waveforms that should be used for 
the second waveform slot. The uppermost 
dotted line indicates which of the 8 waveform 
banks that currently is selected. The lower 
dotted line shows the chosen waveform in 
the selected bank.

TIME

 (glide time) sets the interpolation time 

when a waveform is changed. If set to 0 the 
waveform change will be instant.The higher 
the value, the slower the interpolation will be.

BR1

 (bit reduction 1) sets the bit reduction 

for 

WAV1

.

WID

 (width) sets the pitch distance between 

the waveforms.

BR2

 (bit reduction 2) sets the bit reduction 

for 

WAV2

.

TUNE

 (tune) sets the tune of the oscillator.

DIGIPRO ENSEMBLE “DPRO-DENS”

The DigiPRO Ensemble allow chords to be 
made out of a single waveform. This 
machine is only available in Monomachine 
MKII models.

PCH2-4

 (pitch 2-4) adds an oscillator offset 

from the base pitch. If C-4 is played and

 = 4, 

PCH3

 = 7, 

PCH4

 = OFF, the 

notes C-4, E-4 and G-4 will sound.

The pitches can also be set to the exact 
octave intervals 6/5, 5/4, 4/3 and 3/2 for cre-
ating just intonated (cleaner sounding) 
chords. To change chord inside a pattern, 
use parameter locks!

WAVE

 (waveform) selects the waveform that 

should be used for the machine.

CHRL

 (chorus level) controls the chorus 

level of the Ensemble chorus.

CHRW

 (chorus width) controls the width of 

the Ensemble chorus.

TUNE

 (tune) sets the tune of the oscilla-

tor(s).
