2) Connect the audio output of the signal source to
the jack AUDIO IN (8).
3) Connect an electronically regulated 12 V power sup-
ply unit with a minimum power rating of 500 mA (e. g.
PS-1204ST by MONACOR) to the jack +12V (9).
A low voltage plug 5.5/2.1 mm (outside/inside dia-
meters) is required. Apply the positive pole to the
centre contact of the plug.
6 Operation
1) Switch on the monitor with the button POWER (5).
The power LED (1) lights up.
2) Adjust an optimum picture and volume. For this
purpose, press the button MODE (3) so many
times until the corresponding functional LED (2)
lights up. The power LED (1) is extinguished.
Sequence of functions:
CONTRAST

VOLUME
Use the buttons
"
and
#
(4) to adjust the selected
function. As long as one of the buttons is kept
pressed, the corresponding functional LED (2)
blinks. If it lights continuously, the minimum or
maximum value is reached. If none of the buttons is
actuated any more, the functional LED is extin-
guished after approx. 5 seconds and the power
LED lights up again.
3) If all settings have unintentionally been completely
misadjusted (e. g. screen completely dark or com-
pletely bright), the factory-set standard values can
be recalled:
a) Switch off the monitor with the button POWER
(5).
b) Keep the buttons MODE (3) and POWER (5)
pressed simultaneously.
c) Release the button POWER first, then the but-
ton MODE. All LEDs (1 + 2) light up. After a short
time, only the power LED (1) is still illuminated.
Thus, the standard values are set.
4) For switching off, actuate the button POWER (5).
The power LED (1) is extinguished. If the monitor is
not used for a longer period, disconnect the power
supply unit from the mains socket. Even with the
monitor switched off, the power supply unit will
otherwise have a low current consumption.

2 Safety Notes
This unit corresponds to the directive for electro-
magnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
●
The monitor is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against humidity and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0 – 40 °C).
●
The heat generated within the unit must be carried
off by air circulation. Therefore, do not cover the air
vents on the rear side.
●
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means

3 Applications
This LCD colour monitor in TFT active matrix techno-
logy offers a sharp, quick and high-contrast picture
display. It is suitable for universal applications, e. g. in
monitoring systems or for multimedia applications. An
integrated small speaker allows sound reproduction.
4 Installation
By means of the set-up bracket (6), the monitor can
either be placed as desired or mounted at a suitable
location. A thread jack (6.3 mm thread,
1
/
4
") on the
lower side of the housing is provided for use of a dif-
ferent support.
5 Connection
Connection to the signal source (camera, video re-
corder, etc.) is made via the two phono jacks VIDEO
IN (7) and AUDIO IN (8). If the outputs of the signal
source are designed as BNC jacks, connect the two
supplied phono/BNC adapters (10) to the phono jacks
of the monitor.
1) Connect the video output of the signal source to the
jack VIDEO IN (7).
