Additional Starting Possibilities
Next to the automatic starting function as they can be seen on page 7, there is an additional starting
function.
Connect the battery with the model, switch on the controller and move the left stick completely
up once and down again. The model is now bound with the controller. (Finish the binding process
within 5 seconds, otherwise there may occur dysfunctions.) Now move both sticks of the controller
at the same time diagonally downwards (see picture). The motors of the model start running now
and you can start the model manually (push left stick upwards).
The first flight
Place the model on the ground with about 2-5 m distance. Switch on the model (inserting the battery into the model is described under point
9 in this manual) and then switch on the sender. Through a beeping sound it shows that is is ready to start. Now move the left steering stick
once completely up and then completely down. The model is now connected with the copter and ready to start. Please make sure that the
binding process is finsihed within 5 seconds, otherwise considerable dyfunctions may occur. Repeat the binding process if necessary. Caution:
For setting the gyro-system, the model has to stand still and straight when being switched on.
By pressing the key (8) of the controller the model starts autonomously and keeps the height autonomously. Now you can fly the model. To
initiate the landing, press the key (8) of the controller again. The model is then landing autonomously. You eventually have to steer in the
opposite direction during the landing process, in case the model starts to drift.
This model has an integrated height stabilization which means the model always keeps the height you set autonomously.
For your first flying approaches, look for a grassland or a similar area. The soft ground is advantageous when it comes to possible false starts.
Never fly without rotor protection!
CAUTION
:
1. Always keep the model in sight and under control
2. Always use fully charged batteries
3. Always switch on the model first and afterwards the sender and always switch off the model first and then the sender
4. Do not use the model if it shows signs of optical or mechanical damage
5. Never touch the rotating rotor, risk of injury!
6. Always disconnect the the battery from the model after flying and remove it!
Make sure you fulfil all legal requirements of your country for odel flying. In Germany, a model flight liability insurance is required. This can be
taken out at the model sports club/union or under www.dmfv.de (German model flying club/union). You can also gather information about
extended insurances.
Always fly on a broad, deserted area to avoid critical situations.
If possible, try out flying on a flight simulator before the first flight to see how the model reacts. This can prevent crashes!
