Modena Smart Application Configuration
A. EZ Mode
1. Install Modena Smart application on the smart-phone .
2. Connect the smart-phone with Wi-Fi network.
3. Open the installed
Modena Smart
application
.
4. Follow the registration steps instructed by the application.
5. Turn on the water heater; turn it off after 10s, and then turn it
on again (restart). Leave the appliance in the
standby
mode.
6. Click “+” icon at the top right of the application or click “Add
Device” icon.
7. Choose “Large Home Appliance” menu and then choose “Water
Heater”.
8. Long press the button on the appliance for 3s until the Wi-
Fi indicator light blinking, and then click “Confirm indicator
rapidly blink” on the application.
9. Input the username and the password of the Wi-Fi network and
then click “Confirm”.
10. The application will do pairing with the appliance and wait until
the process 100% finish.
11. After the “Device added successfully” notification appear, click
“Done”. The application is ready to use.
12. If it fails, click “Retry” and repeat the steps above.
B. AP Mode
1. Press " " (Wi-Fi) + " " buttons on the water heater at the
same time to confirm that the Wi-Fi indicator is flashing slowly.
2. Select "Other Mode" in the upper right corner of the EZ
network page.
3. Select "AP Mode" in the ''Select Network Configuration Mode''
page.
4. Click "Confirm indicator slowly blink" on the AP network
configuration confirmation page.
5. Enter the Wi-Fi information and password; click "Confirm" to
jump to the Wi-Fi hotspot connection introduction page.
