For Windows 2000 and Windows XP Users
Go to Start >> Run. Type
cmd
In the DOS-window, type
ipconfig
In this example, we can see that the PC has an IP Address of 192.168.1.2. The Default Gateway
is 192.168.1.1, which is the Router.
For more details, type
ipconfig/all

It would be good to know your MAC address if you want to implement MAC
address control on your Router.
Your Default Gateway is usually the IP Address of the Router:
192.168.1.1
