Basic > LAN Setting
This page is for the configuration of the Router’s internal (LAN) IP Address.
System Name:
This is to assign a name to the router so that you can identify the Router.
LAN IP address
: This is where you assign a local IP address to your router’s LAN port. The
factory default value is 192.168.1.1. If you give your computer a static IP address, the gateway of
your computer must be set to this IP for you to access the Internet.
Subnet Mask
: This is where you assign the corresponding subnet mask. The default subnet
mask is 255.255.255.0.
When you change the LAN Setting of the Router, you need to reset/renew the
Local computer IP address.)
Basic > WAN Setting
This page allows you to configure how the WAN is connected. For
MOBI
users, you have to use
PPPoE
. If you connect the WAN to an existing Ethernet network, you have to set either
Static
WAN
or
DHCP Client
.
The default setting for the router is in PPPoE Client mode
