Chapter Five:  Maintenance and Troubleshooting

General

Should you encounter any difficulties while using your 270 instrument, contact any authorized
MKS Calibration and Service Center.  If it is necessary for you to return your instrument, please
obtain an ERA (Equipment Return Authorization) Number before shipping.  The ERA Number
expedites handling and ensures proper service of your instrument.

Please refer to the back cover of this manual for a list of the authorized MKS Calibration and
Service Centers.

Warning

All returns to MKS Instruments must be free of harmful,
corrosive, radioactive, or toxic materials.
