Do not allow any hard or pointed objects to fall onto the Ceran

®

hob.

Do not operate the unit if the Ceran

®

 hob is damaged.

Switch off the damaged unit immediately and disconnect it from the
mains.

Magnetic field

Risk of injury due to magnetic field

Pregnant women should not stand near the hob.

Persons with metal implants or heart pace-makers should consult a
physician as to whether they may remain in the area of hob.

Risk of property damage due to magnetic field

Do not place any magnetically sensitive objects (e.g. credit cards,
mobile phones) on the hob.

Cookware should be spaced so that they do not touch.

Hot cookware

Damage caused by hot cookware

Do not set hot cookware on the glued joint of the hob; silicone seals
would be damaged.

The cookware diameter may not overlap the edge of the Ceran

®

 hob.

Hygiene

Damage due to dirty air filter

Observe the cleaning instructions.

Change the air filter insert in good time.

Cleaning

Risk of injury on slippery floor

Clean the floor in front of the unit regularly.

Equipment damage due to incorrect cleaning

Do not clean the unit with a water or steam high-pressure cleaner.

Do not clean the surfaces with abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or
chemically aggressive cleaners.

Observe the reaction times for cleaning agents.

Clean the unit regularly.

Use a glass scraper to clean the Ceran

®

 hob.

Use a glass-ceramic cleaner.

Do not use cleaners containing acetic acid.
