Using backside of spindle nut as a tool, place it on
the spindle for rotating inner spool assembly to set
tension. Rotate counter clockwise for .030 & .035
Aluminum Wire or rotate clockwise for All other
wires.
To set motor torque,
place toggle in ‘UP’
position for .030-.035
Aluminum wires
and ‘DOWN’ for all
After setting the tension flip the spindle nut
back around and tighten it to the spindle
thus locking the spool in place.
Installing Wire Spool
Step 1: Install Wire Spool
Remove spindle nut, install spool on spindle with wire
coming off the top as shown.

Step 2: Spool Drag, Motor Torque
Set the spindle drag and motor torque to match the wire
used. This will allow for proper feeding of the wire to the
gun.
