Broadcast - cell broadcast (CB) messages

These are messages broadcast by the networks to all GSM users and may provide
general information about local area dialling codes, weather reports and traffic
news etc. Each type of message is numbered enabling you to select the type of in-
formation you want to receive. Up to 5 different types of messages can be pro-
grammed into your selection list but only one can be displayed at any one time.
There are 16 standard message types pre-programmed into the phone to select
from. New message types can be programmed into the selection list using the
3 digit cell broadcast type number. Contact your service provider for details on the
number and types of messages broadcast.
Before you can turn on the broadcast service you have to put at least one message
type into the selection list.

To enter a message type in the selection list

Up to 5 message types can be entered into the selection list.
