Check of indoor electronic control P.C. board

Check of outdoor unit

Compressor and / or outdoor fan does not operate.

Check both “parts side”
and “pattern side” of indoor
electronic control P.C.
board visually.

Replace the fuse.

Is fuse(F11) blown?

Be sure to check both fuse
and varistor in any case.

Replace the fan motor .

Trouble of the
indoor electronic
control P.C. board.

Is winding resistance
of fan motor 0

Is winding resistance
of vane motor 0

Yes

Replace the vane motor. .

Yes

Is varistor(NR11) burnt?

Replace the varistor.

Yes

Turn OFF the power supply.
Remove indoor fan motor connector CN211 and vane motor connector CN151
from the ELECTRONIC CONTROL P.C. board and turn on the power supply.

The unit doesn’t operate with the remote controller.
Also, the Operation Indicator lamp doesn’t light up
by pressing the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.

Yes

Be sure to check both resistance.

The unit doesn’t operate with the remote controller.
Also, the POWER MONITOR lamp doesn’t light up by pressing the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.

Start

Check the voltage to terminal block of
outdoor unit. Is there AC220~240V to terminal
block between

Turn on the indoor power supply.
Press the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.
3-minute time delay works.
Test run operation operates for 30 minutes.

Yes

Check the outdoor power supply, power
supply cord and connection.

Check the voltage to terminal block of
outdoor unit. Is there 12V DC to terminal
block between

Yes

Outdoor unit does not
operate.

Is the connection of wiring
in outdoor unit correct?

Check the 52C contactor,
outdoor fan motor
and compressor.

Make the connection of
wiring in outdoor unit
correct.

Check the voltage to terminal block of
indoor unit. Is there 12V DC to terminal block
between

Check the continuity of indoor and
outdoor unit connection.

Yes

Check the indoor electronic
control P.C. board.

Compressor
does not operate.

Yes

Is the connection of wiring
from terminal block to
compressor correct ?

Check the compressor.
See page 34.

Make the connection of
wiring from terminal block
to compressor correct .

Outdoor fan motor
does not operate.

Yes

Is the connection of wiring
from terminal block to
outdoor fan motor correct ?

Check the outdoor fan motor.
See page 131and 132.

Make the connection of
wiring from terminal block
to outdoor fan motor
correct .

Is fuse "F"(2A) blown?

Yes

Replace the fuse "F"(2A).
