Handling precautions
1. Panel mounting
①
The relay of unit-drawer type (RD type) can be drawn
out from the case.
2. Use and operation
①
About the setting switches for using condition, factory
settings are set to a default of OFF. So it is necessary
to set the switches according to the conditions.
②
Please refrain from changing the setting value during
operation, since unwanted operation may occur. However,
if the setting change is unavoidable, please press the
CPU reset button in order to lock the relay function.
③
Don't leave rotary switches with halfway (indefinite)
state.
④
The RUN LED lights up in the normal condition when the
rated voltage is input. If it still turns off when the
input voltage exceeds 55V, please contact our local
agent and branch office since the relay may fail.
⑤
When the operating voltage setting switch is set to
the LOCK, the b contacts open when RUN LED is turned
on. If input voltage is turned to zero from this
state, the b contacts remain open.
⑥
This relay has a built-in capacitor to hold the power
supply up to the operating time setting in case of power
failure. If the power outage lasts approximately 10
seconds or longer, the capacitor runs out of charge and
the RUN LED of the relay turns off. When power is
restored from this state, it takes up to 2 seconds to
resume operation and to reset output contacts.

If the input voltage at the time of power recovery is
less than the setting value, the output contacts are
once reset as in the case of

above and then operated
after the setting operation time. If the energizing time
is short, the capacitor may not be fully charged, and
the relay may not operate properly.
