[2] Precautions for use
1. Do not inspect the control circuit with a tester.
The tester voltage could be applied on the semiconductor parts, and cause damage.
2. Always align the connector shape and direction, and securely insert the connector.
3. Use the machine away from strong noise sources such as high frequency welders.
4. Please never open the case. The mounting of the case screws is torque-controlled, if you tighten the screw
with more torque than the specified torque, the case may be damaged.
5. Do not unplug the RS232C cable of the PLK-J-LAN with the power on.
It may cause malfunction and failure.
6. In order to reduce the influence of high frequency noise, attach the ferrite core to the RS232C cable of
PLK-J-LAN.
7. Notes on turning on the power again
Please make sure not to turn on the power supply switch until after the LED on the front panel side of this
product has completely turned off.
*Please note that if power supply is turned on again while LED still turns on, the data in the PLK-J-LAN
may be damaged.
8. Please take measures by the user against illegal access from the external devices with network,
when it is necessary to keep the safety of PLK-J-LAN system.

9. When CON C is not used, please attach the cap to CON C to protect it.
10. While the PLK-J-LAN communicates with the PLK-G, do not access the PLK-G such as reading and
writing with the sewing data creation software PTN-GX.
*If the above operation is not observed, the data in the PLK-G may be damaged.
