2.3 Powering up
When powering up the Kaleido-Solo
The led should turn on red.
After 5 seconds the led should flash red (no valid SDI input) or green (valid SDI input).
Your monitor should turn on and you should see content of the SDI input. If you only use the optional optical
input you won‟t be able to see any video until 15 seconds approximately. In this step Kaleido-Solo will use all
factory default parameters for video and audio. Even if you had muted audio you will hear audio in this boot up
step.
After 15 seconds the led should stop blinking.
The overlay should appear making the monitor turn off and on once.
You are now ready to use the Kaleido-Solo.
The average total time to power-up a Kaleido-Solo is 20 seconds.
