13 Transition button
The transition button displays the transition type (as a graphic) and the transition rate (in
text).
‘Cut’ transitions involve no rate and for cut transitions, the button displays no rate text.
The button is bright orange.
Pressing the transition button initiates a transition in the Imagestore 750 according to the
panel setup.
See Transition Button on page 35 for detail.
Touchscreen
Figure 3-4 shows the touchscreen and its 8 associated knobs:

The touchscreen presents a number of different menus that allow you to adjust operating
parameters. (You can adjust the brightness of the touchscreen.)
The panel has menu buttons that allow you to select the menu that will appear on the touch-
screen. Menu buttons are toggles: pressing the button once displays the menu; pressing the
button again displays the main menu.
Some menus allow you to adjust function parameters, such as the ‘DSK Rates, CGT, and Keying’
menu shown in Figure 3-4. You can adjust function parameters in two ways:
• Using the adjacent rotary knobs.
• Within the touchscreen itself, using an on-screen keypad to adjust numeric values, or by
enabling or disabling control functions.
The touchscreen has a line at the top for status and error messages and another line at the top
for informative messages.
