POWER starts to drive. When the joystick is moved back to
the central position slightly, the speed is reduced. When the
joystick is released, the MINOS POWER automatically brakes
and comes to a standstill.
Parking brake
The fully automatic brake system, which is operated using the
joystick, functions as a brake on the motor and functions as a
parking brake when the electronics are turned off.
In the case of a (sudden) power failure, the brakes automati-
cally become engaged.

9. PUSHING POSITION / NEUTRAL
If necessary, the MINOS POWER can also be pushed by hand,
for example when the user is not driving and the MINOS
POWER needs to be moved. To put the MINOS POWER in pus-
hing position/neutral, it must first be put into neutral by dis-
connecting the motors (with built-in magnetic brakes).
Changing to pushing position/neutral
Caution! When the MINOS POWER is in pushing
position/neutral, the brakes are disconnected! Only put the
Minos Power in pushing position/neutral on a flat surface!
The pushing position/neutral is operated mechanically by
hand. The handles (photo) are located at back of the MINOS
POWER, to the left and to the right. When the handles point
backwards, the engines are engaged. If the handles point sideways, then the engines are in pushing
position/neutral. See also the drawings on the engines of the MINOS POWER.

Changing out of pushing position/neutral
To turn off the pushing position/neutral, i.e. to turn the
motor and brakes back on, the handles must be moved back
to the backward position. Check whether the brakes have
been turned back on by feeling whether it is possible to push
the Minos Power forwards and backwards. If the drive and
brakes are working correctly, this should not be possible.
Caution! Ensure that both handles are in pushing
position/neutral or in driving position.
