B a t t e r y P e r f o r m a n c e
The 6-volt 2CR5 l i t h i u m battery s h o u l d provide sufficient power for
shooting approximately 50 rolls of 24-exposure f i l m w i t h o u t flash. These
figures are based on Minolta's standard test m e t h o d using a fresh battery
at 68°F (20°C). Actual battery performance will depend on h o w you use the
camera. If you install a new battery that has been in p r o l o n g e d storage,
battery performance may vary.
C o l d - W e a t h e r O p e r a t i o n

However, if y o u plan to shoot m a n y rolls of f i l m o u t d o o r s at temperatures
near or below 32° F (0°C), we r e c o m m e n d that y o u carry the camera inside
your coat w h i l e you are not s h o o t i n g , to keep it w a r m . You may also w a n t
to carry a spare battery in your pocket so that y o u can change the camera
battery if necessary. Do not discard a cold battery. After it w a r m s up, it w i l l
regain s o m e of its charge.
