Connecting the Telephone Line Cable

Plug the other end of the telephone cord into the bottom terminal on
the righthand side at the back of the machine.

Connect the telephone cable to the wall outlet.

Note
The upper terminal must not be used for this machine.

Connecting the Power Cable

Plug the power cable into the corresponding terminal on the machine and
into the wall socket.

Operating the Machine

Move the power switch to ON.

After approx. 30 seconds, the
[START] key will flash green. The
display shows the following
message: The machine is now
ready for operation.
