batteries for the parent unit. We recommend the use of
the batteries in the parent unit to be able to listen to the
baby unit from any location. Reconnect the parent unit
to the adaptor whenever possible to keep the battery
charged up.
Main steps:
- Remove the belt clip by lifting the clip at the top and
sliding it downwards.
- Then remove the battery cover on the back of the
parent unit by applying pressure and sliding it down.
Insert the rechargeable batteries as marked on the
unit and close the cover again.
- Place the parent unit into the charger pod.
- Plug the mains adaptor into a mains power socket.
The red LED (7) flashes. (LED is steady when power
is on and flashes during recharging of the batteries).
Baby unit:
The baby unit of this baby monitor is designed to be
powered by either batteries or the provided AC/DC adaptor.
The batteries are for backing up the baby unit during a power
failure. It is therefore recommended that you insert non-
recle batteries in the baby unit.
Main steps:
- Remove the battery cover on the back of the baby unit by
applying pressure and sliding it down.
- Insert 4 AAA alkaline batteries (not included) and close the
cover again. Do not use rechargeable batteries in the baby unit.
- Plug the power cord into the power input at the bottom of the baby unit and plug
the adaptor plug into a mains power socket.
- Press and hold down the Power Key to turn the baby unit on if necessary. The
LED (14) will be ON (if night light is set ON).

Once you have set up your Baby Monitor, you will be able to hear the sounds in
